  Profile of the Department

The new group in B.Sc with Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science is introduced in the year 1999 with the intake of 20 students. Later in the year 2014, the student strength is increased to 36. The Department of Computer Science procures well established lab for students  with 30 latest configuration computers, one projector, 10KVA UPS to run the systems even in  power cut.

The department provides guidance to students those who are preparing for NIMCET, ICET exams by conducting interaction with students with alumni those who are studying in NIT. In collaboration with APSSDC and English, the department provides training to students in arithmetic skills, soft skills and communication skills. The department is running successfully for the last 20 years with the experienced faculty. Every year students joined in reputed institution for higher education, getting placements in MNCs
